    Crockpot Creamy Chicken Alfredo Broccoli Fettuccine

    2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    1 large head broccoli, cut into florets
    1 (16 oz) jar Alfredo sauce (or homemade, see below)
    4 oz cream cheese, softened
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for serving
    1 lb fettuccine pasta (or penne, rotini, bowtie pasta)
    1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for searing chicken)
    Red pepper flakes (optional, for a spicy kick)
    Homemade Alfredo Sauce (Optional)
    1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
    1 1/2 cups heavy cream
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 teaspoon salt (to taste)
    1/8 teaspoon black pepper (to taste)
    Pinch ground nutmeg (optional)

    Instructions:

    Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken breasts 2–3 minutes per side until golden.

    Add chicken, broccoli, Alfredo sauce, cream cheese, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper into the Crockpot. Mix gently.

    Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or high for 2–3 hours, until chicken is tender.

    30 minutes before serving, boil pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

    Remove chicken from the slow cooker, shred with two forks, then return it to the creamy sauce. Stir in Parmesan.

    Toss cooked pasta with creamy chicken Alfredo sauce and broccoli. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes.
