    These Crispy Mozzarella Sticks are the ultimate cheesy treat, perfect for any occasion! Freezing the sticks before frying ensures they hold their shape and stay irresistibly cheesy. Pair them with marinara sauce for a classic flavor combo everyone will love.     Ingredients:

    12 mozzarella cheese sticks (string cheese works best)

    1/2 cup all-purpose flour

    2 large eggs (beaten)

    1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)

    1 teaspoon garlic powder

    1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    1/2 teaspoon black pepper

    Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

    Marinara sauce (for dipping)

    Instructions:

    1. Prepare the Cheese Sticks

    Unwrap the mozzarella sticks. For bite-sized snacks, cut each stick in half.

    Set up a coating station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

    2. Coat the Cheese Sticks

    Roll each mozzarella stick in flour, dip it into the egg, then coat it thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.

    For an extra crispy crust, repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating process.

    3. Freeze for Best Results

    Arrange the coated mozzarella sticks on a baking sheet and freeze for 1-2 hours. This step ensures the cheese stays intact while frying.

    4. Fry to Perfection

    Heat 2 inches of oil in a deep pan or fryer to 350°F (175°C).

    Fry the frozen mozzarella sticks in small batches for 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

    Use a slotted spoon to transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

    5. Serve and Enjoy
