The addition of melted garlic butter takes them to the next level, adding a rich, savory flavor. Ideal for parties or a quick snack, these potato pops will satisfy any garlic and potato lover. Try this easy air-fryer recipe for a delicious, hassle-free treat!

    Ingredients:

2 large potatoes (peeled and cubed)

    1 tsp garlic granules

    1 tsp onion granules

    1 tsp paprika

    Salt and pepper (to taste)

4 tbsp cornflour (add more as needed)

    Cooking oil spray

    Garlic Butter:

    100 g butter

    2 tsp garlic granules

    Fresh parsley (a handful, chopped)

    Directions:

    Step 1: Prepare the Potatoes
Peel and cube 2 large potatoes, then boil them until they’re tender and easy to pierce with a fork. Drain the potatoes completely.

    Step 2: Season and Mash
In a mixing bowl, season the boiled potatoes with garlic granules, onion granules, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mash the potatoes until smooth, then add 4 tbsp of cornflour. Mix well until you form a thick dough. Adjust the cornflour for the right consistency.

Step 3: Shape into Potato Balls
Roll the mashed potato mixture into small, bite-sized balls. Place them into your air fryer basket, and lightly spray with cooking oil.

Step 4: Air Fry to Perfection
Air-fry the potato balls at 200°C (400°F) for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Shake the air fryer basket every few minutes to ensure even cooking.

Step 5: Make the Garlic Butter
While your potato pops are frying, prepare the garlic butter. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 100g butter with garlic granules and fresh chopped parsley in 30-second intervals until fully melted.

Step 6: Coat with Garlic Butter
Once the potato pops are golden and crispy, transfer them to a serving bowl. Drizzle the garlic butter over the top, and gently toss the potato pops to coat them evenly.

    Step 7: Serve and Enjoy!
Serve the Garlic Potato Pops hot, pouring any remaining garlic butter over for an extra boost of flavor. They’re the ultimate crispy, garlicky snack!
