    This Crispy Chicken with Caramelized Cheese Sauce is a dream dish for cheese and chicken lovers alike! With golden, crispy skin and a creamy, rich sauce, every bite is indulgent and satisfying.     Ingredients:

    For the Chicken

    4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs or breasts

    Salt and pepper, to taste

    1 tablespoon olive oil

    1 tablespoon butter

    2 cloves garlic, minced

    1 teaspoon fresh thyme (or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme)

    1 teaspoon paprika (optional)

    For the Caramelized Cheese Sauce

    1 cup heavy cream

    1 cup shredded cheese (Gruyère, cheddar, or a cheese blend)

    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)

    Salt and pepper, to taste

    Fresh herbs (like parsley or chives) for garnish

    Instructions:

    1. Prepare the Chicken

    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Pat chicken dry with paper towels, then season generously with salt, pepper, and paprika for extra flavor.

    2. Sear the Chicken

    In a large, oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Place chicken skin-side down, cooking for 5–7 minutes until the skin is golden and crispy.

    Flip the chicken and add minced garlic and thyme to release their flavors. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

    3. Bake the Chicken

    Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Once done, remove the chicken from the oven and set it aside.

    4. Make the Caramelized Cheese Sauce

    In a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream and shredded cheese over medium heat. Stir until smooth and melted.

    Add Dijon mustard for a subtle kick, if desired. Season with salt and pepper, then simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.

    5. Combine and Serve

    Pour the caramelized cheese sauce over the chicken or serve on the side for dipping. Garnish with fresh herbs for a pop of color.
