Ingredients:
For the Crispy Chicken:
1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for spice preference)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup vegetable oil
For the Bang Bang Sauce:
1/4 cup sriracha mayo (blend mayonnaise and sriracha to taste)
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce (optional)
1 tbsp sesame oil (optional)
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp water
Instructions:
In a shallow bowl, whisk together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs.
Place panko breadcrumbs in another shallow bowl.
Dredge chicken pieces in the flour mixture, then dip in eggs, and coat with panko breadcrumbs, pressing lightly.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken in batches, 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a wire rack to drain excess oil.
While chicken fries, mix sriracha mayo, honey, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a small bowl.
Whisk cornstarch and water in a separate bowl, then add to the sauce. Stir until smooth and slightly thickened.
Pour the sweet and spicy Bang Bang sauce over the crispy chicken.
Serve immediately and enjoy this crunchy, saucy, Bang Bang Chicken delight!
