    Creamy Swiss Chicken Casserole with Stuffing

    Creamy Swiss Chicken Casserole with Stuffing

     

    Looking for a cozy and hearty dinner idea? This Swiss Chicken Casserole with Stuffing is a family-favorite comfort food that’s perfect for busy weeknights or Sunday dinners. Juicy chicken breasts, creamy Swiss cheese, and buttery stuffing come together in one deliciously baked dish.

     

    Ingredients:

    4 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts

    6 oz sliced Swiss cheese

    1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

    1 can (14 oz) chicken broth

    6 oz stuffing mix (your favorite brand)

    1/2 cup butter, melted

     

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large casserole dish.

    2. Layer the chicken in the bottom of the dish. Add salt and pepper if desired.

    3. Place Swiss cheese slices evenly over the chicken.

    4. In a bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup and chicken broth. Pour over the chicken and cheese.

    5. In a separate bowl, mix stuffing mix with melted butter until fully coated.

    6. Spread the stuffing over the top of the casserole.

    7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly.

    8. Let it rest a few minutes, then serve warm and enjoy!
