A rich and delicious creamy shrimp pasta recipe loaded with juicy shrimp, hearty mushrooms, tender pasta shells, and fresh baby spinach smothered in a garlicky cream sauce and ready in just 30 minutes! This easy one-skillet shrimp dinner is perfect for busy weeknights and seafood lovers alike.

 

Ingredients:

12 oz shell pasta

1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup mushrooms, sliced

3 cups baby spinach

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Juice of 1/2 lemon (optional)

Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

 

Instructions:

1. Cook the Pasta
Boil shell pasta in salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

2. Sauté the Shrimp
Season shrimp with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

3. Sauté Garlic and Mushrooms
Reduce heat to medium. Melt butter in the skillet, then add garlic and mushrooms. Cook for 3–4 minutes until mushrooms are soft and slightly browned.

4. Add Spinach
Stir in spinach and cook until wilted about 1–2 minutes.

5. Make the Cream Sauce
Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer for 4–5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

6. Finish the Sauce
Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is creamy and smooth.

7. Combine and Serve
Add cooked pasta and shrimp back into the skillet. Toss everything gently to coat in the creamy sauce. Add lemon juice if desired, and garnish with parsley before serving.
