Indulge in this rich, creamy garlic chicken served over buttery noodles, a perfect comfort meal for any night! Tender pan-seared chicken is smothered in a garlic mushroom cream sauce and paired with buttery pasta for an easy yet indulgent dinner.

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (pounded to even thickness)
Salt and black pepper (to taste)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
8 ounces mushrooms (sliced)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
12 ounces cooked noodles (tossed with butter)
Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Grated Parmesan cheese (for garnish)

Instructions:

Season & Sear the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Sauté Mushrooms & Garlic: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add mushrooms and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Stir in garlic, thyme, and oregano; sauté until fragrant (about 1-2 minutes).

Make the Creamy Sauce: Pour in chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits. Simmer for 5 minutes to reduce the liquid. Stir in heavy cream and let it thicken for 3-4 minutes.

Bring It All Together: Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the luscious creamy sauce. Let it warm through for a couple of minutes.

Serve & Enjoy: Plate the chicken over buttered noodles and garnish with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese.
