Ingredients (serves 4):

340g penne pasta
450g boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into strips
Salt and pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
250ml double cream
125ml chicken stock
175g grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp dried (or fresh) parsley

Instructions:

Cooking the pasta: Cook the penne according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Seasoning the chicken: Sprinkle the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.

Cooking the chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6 to 7 minutes. Remove it from the skillet and set aside.

Making the creamy sauce: Melt the butter in the same skillet. Sauté the garlic for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the cream and broth: Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.

Stir in the Parmesan cheese and parsley. Let the sauce thicken until it reaches a creamy, cheesy consistency.

Toss the pasta and chicken: Return the cooked chicken and penne to the skillet. Toss well to coat evenly with the creamy Parmesan and herb sauce.
