    Creamy Chicken & Mushroom Tagliatelle Pasta Recipe

    Indulge in the ultimate creamy chicken and mushroom tagliatelle a rich, comforting Italian-inspired pasta dish perfect for a romantic dinner or cozy night in. Tender herb-seasoned chicken, earthy mushrooms, and silky Parmesan cream sauce coat every strand of pasta for a truly unforgettable meal.

    Ingredients

    For the Creamy Mushroom Tagliatelle

    Tagliatelle or fettuccine pasta (fresh or dried)

    Mushrooms, sliced (white button, chestnut, or cremini)

    Fresh garlic, minced

    Shallot or onion, finely chopped

    Heavy cream or crème fraîche

    Parmesan cheese, freshly grated

    Olive oil or unsalted butter

    Salt & freshly ground black pepper

    Fresh parsley for garnish

    For the Juicy Herb Chicken

    Boneless, skinless chicken breasts

    Olive oil for searing

    Garlic powder

    Dried Italian herbs (basil, thyme, oregano)

    Salt & cracked black pepper

     

    Instructions

    1. Cook the Pasta Boil tagliatelle until al dente, then drain and set aside.

    2. Prepare the Chicken Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Pan-sear in olive oil over medium heat until golden brown and fully cooked. Let rest before slicing.

    3. Make the Creamy Mushroom Sauce In a separate pan, sauté shallots, garlic, and mushrooms in butter or olive oil until tender and fragrant.

    4. Add the Cream & Cheese Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently. Stir in Parmesan until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    5. Combine Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce until coated in creamy goodness.

    6. Serve & Enjoy Plate the pasta, top with sliced chicken, and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve warm.

     

    Chef’s Tips & Variations

    Stir in spinach or peas for a fresh green twist

    Swap cream for coconut cream for a dairy-free option
