Ingredients:

For the Pasta:

6 oz fettuccine noodles

Salt (for boiling water)

1 ½ cups broccoli florets

For the Chicken:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips

1 tablespoon olive oil or unsalted butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt & black pepper, to taste

For the Homemade Alfredo Sauce:

2 tablespoons butter

1 cup heavy cream

¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 garlic clove (optional), minced

Salt & black pepper to taste

Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions:

1. Cook Pasta & Broccoli:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the fettuccine according to package directions. In the last 3–4 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets. Drain and set aside.

2. Cook the Chicken:
Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken strips with salt and pepper. Sear chicken until golden brown and fully cooked, about 5–7 minutes. Remove and set aside.

3. Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce thickens and becomes smooth.

4. Combine Everything:
Toss the cooked pasta and broccoli into the Alfredo sauce. Add the seared chicken on top. Mix gently until everything is coated evenly.

5. Garnish & Serve:
Top with chopped parsley, extra Parmesan, and freshly cracked black pepper. Serve hot for a creamy, indulgent meal.

Tips & Variations:

Whole wheat pasta or gluten-free fettuccine work great.

Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor and nutrition.

A pinch of nutmeg adds warmth, while red pepper flakes give it a subtle heat.
