    Creamy Cheesesteak Tortellini with Parmesan Sauce

     

    This Cheesesteak Tortellini in Creamy Parmesan Sauce is a delicious twist on classic comfort foods! Tender slices of steak, cheesy tortellini, and a rich, garlicky Parmesan sauce make it a satisfying, one-pan dish perfect for weeknights or special occasions. With sweet bell peppers and caramelized onions, each bite is loaded with flavor. Ready in just 30 minutes, it’s an easy, crowd-pleasing meal. Serve it with a sprinkle of parsley and extra Parmesan for the ultimate finish!

    Ingredients:

    1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), thinly sliced

    1 package (20 oz) cheese tortellini, refrigerated or frozen

    2 tbsp olive oil

    1 medium onion, thinly sliced

    1 bell pepper (red or green), thinly sliced

    2 cloves garlic, minced

    1 cup heavy cream

    1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    1/2 cup beef broth

    1 tbsp butter

    1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

    Salt and pepper, to taste

    Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

    Extra Parmesan for garnish (optional)

    Instructions:

    1. Cook the Tortellini: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

    2. Sear the Steak: While the tortellini is cooking, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak slices with salt and pepper, then sear in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside.

    3. Cook the Vegetables: In the same skillet, heat remaining olive oil. Add sliced onion and bell pepper, cooking until softened (4-5 minutes). Stir in garlic, cooking until fragrant (1 minute).

    4. Make the Creamy Parmesan Sauce: Lower heat to medium. Add butter, letting it melt. Stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and heavy cream, then simmer. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth, seasoning with salt and pepper.

    5. Combine Everything: Add cooked tortellini and steak back to the skillet. Toss until everything is fully coated in the Parmesan sauce, heating for 2-3 minutes.

    6. Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
