Ingredients:

Chicken & Base
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
1–2 tbsp Dash Garlic and Herb Garlic Blend (or any salt-free seasoning)
1 tbsp olive oil
5 tbsp butter, divided
1 yellow onion, diced
2 carrots, diced
2 celery ribs, diced
6–7 garlic cloves, minced
Seasoning
2 tsp Lawry’s Seasoned Salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp Herbs de Provence or Italian seasoning
Pinch of nutmeg
Thickening & Liquid
¼ cup all-purpose flour
4 cups chicken broth
2 cups heavy cream
Cheese & Veggies
3 cups sharp cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
3 cups fresh broccoli, chopped
Dumplings
1 can (5 count) Pillsbury Grands Homestyle Biscuits, cut into 9 pieces each
Garnish (Optional)
Dried parsley

Directions:

Cook the Chicken: In a large pot, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Season chicken with garlic blend and cook until golden brown and fully cooked (6–8 minutes per side). Remove, cool, and shred into bite-sized pieces.

Sauté the Veggies: In the same pot, melt remaining 3 tablespoons butter. Add onions, carrots, celery, and garlic. Sauté 5–7 minutes until tender.

Season: Stir in seasoned salt, black pepper, paprika, Herbs de Provence, and nutmeg. Cook for 1 minute to release flavors.

Thicken the Base: Sprinkle flour over veggies and mix well. Slowly pour in chicken broth, stirring constantly to prevent lumps. Simmer 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.

Add Cream & Cheese: Stir in heavy cream, shredded chicken, broccoli, and cheddar cheese. Mix until cheese melts and sauce is creamy.

Prepare Dumplings: Cut biscuits into 9 pieces each. Gently fold into the mixture. Cover and cook 10–15 minutes until dumplings are fluffy and cooked through.
