    Cracker Barrel Meatloaf Recipe: Classic Comfort Food

    Cracker Barrel Meatloaf Recipe: Classic Comfort Food

    Looking for a delicious and classic comfort food recipe? This Cracker Barrel Meatloaf is sure to be a hit! Made with lean ground beef, onions, bell pepper, cheddar cheese, Ritz crackers, and topped with a sweet, savory glaze, this meatloaf will leave everyone asking for seconds.

    Ingredients:
    – 1 onion, finely chopped
    – 1/4 cup Kraft Calorie Wise Italian dressing
    – 1-1/2 pounds of lean beef
    – 3/4 cup Heinz ketchup, divided
    – 1 package (120 g) of low-sodium chicken stuffing mix
    – 3/4 cup water
    – 2 egg whites
    – 1/2 cup cheddar cheese

    Instructions:
    1. Preheat your oven to 374°F (190°C).
    2. In a large non-stick skillet, cook the onions with the Italian dressing over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden brown, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
    3. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, cooked onions, 1/4 cup of ketchup, stuffing mix, water, and egg whites until well combined.
    4. Shape the mixture into a 10×5-inch loaf and place it in a 13×9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.
    5. Spread the remaining ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
    6. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through (160°F).
    7. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top of the meatloaf and bake for an additional 2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
    8. Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
