    Classic Spaghetti Meat Sauce Recipe

    Looking for a hearty and delicious spaghetti meat sauce recipe? This classic dish features a rich blend of ground chuck, tomatoes, and savory seasonings, perfect for any pasta lover!

    Ingredients:
    – 2 lbs ground chuck
    – 1 can diced tomatoes
    – 1 can crushed tomatoes
    – 2 cans tomato sauce
    – 3 tablespoons olive oil
    – 5 cloves fresh garlic, minced
    – 1 large onion or 2 medium onions, diced
    – 1 green pepper, diced
    – 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    – 1 teaspoon onion powder
    – 2 tablespoons minced parsley
    – 1 teaspoon dried sweet basil
    – 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    – 1 teaspoon dried oregano
    – 1 teaspoon sea salt
    – 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

    Instructions:

    1. Prepare the Vegetables:
    – Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in an extra-large skillet over medium heat.
    – Add diced onions and diced green pepper, cooking for about 5 to 7 minutes until softened.
    – Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant and lightly browned.

    2. Cook the Meat:
    – Add the ground chuck to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain the grease from the meat.

    3. Add Seasonings:
    – Add garlic powder, onion powder, minced parsley, dried sweet basil, Italian seasoning, dried oregano, sea salt, and black pepper. Stir to mix the seasonings thoroughly with the browned ground chuck.

    4. Incorporate the Tomatoes:
    – Add the can of diced tomatoes, the can of crushed tomatoes, and the tomato sauce to the skillet. Stir to combine.

    5. Simmer the Sauce:
    – Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

    6. Prepare the Spaghetti:
    – In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the water to prevent the pasta from sticking.
    – Cook the spaghetti pasta for about 7 to 8 minutes until al dente. Drain the water.

    7. Serve:
    – Add the meat sauce to the cooked spaghetti and toss to combine.
