Classic Beef Stroganoff with Creamy Mushroom Sauce

 

Indulge in this rich and creamy Beef Stroganoff a comforting one-pan meal loaded with tender beef sirloin, a savory mushroom cream sauce, and buttery egg noodles. Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner!

Ingredients:

1 lb beef sirloin or stew meat, cubed m
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1 cup heavy cream or sour cream
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp flour (for thickening)
Salt & black pepper to taste
12 oz egg noodles
Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions:

Cook the noodles Boil egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Sear the beef Heat olive oil in a pan, add cubed beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Remove from pan.
Sauté the aromatics In the same pan, melt butter, add onions & garlic, and cook until soft and fragrant.
Make the sauce Stir in flour, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and beef broth. Simmer for 5 minutes to thicken.
Combine & simmer Return beef to the pan, stir in heavy cream or sour cream, and let it cook for another 10 minutes until rich and creamy.
Serve & enjoy Toss the sauce with cooked egg noodles, garnish with fresh parsley, and dig in!
