    Chocolate Cake
    Ingredients:
    1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
    1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
    1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
    1/4 cup melted coconut oil
    1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
    2 large eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Instructions:
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
    In a mixing bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
    In another large bowl, combine the unsweetened applesauce, honey or maple syrup, melted coconut oil, almond milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well combined.
    Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, whisking until just combined. Do not overmix.
    Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly.
    Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
    Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
    Once cooled, you can enjoy the cake as is or frost it with a healthier frosting option such as Greek yogurt or avocado chocolate frosting.
