3 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 (15 oz) can low-sodium beef broth
1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes
1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3/4 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
3/4 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions:
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks.
Once the beef is mostly cooked, add the onions and bell peppers. Cook for 5-10 minutes until they start to soften.
Stir in the garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the diced tomatoes, beef broth, rice, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
Once the rice is tender, stir in half of the cheese until melted and combined.
Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top, cover, and let it melt. For a golden, bubbly top, place the skillet under the broiler for 1-2 minutes.
