    Cheesy Garlic Green Beans Recipe

    Make the ultimate cheesy garlic green beans with tender green beans, melted Parmesan and mozzarella, and a flavorful garlic butter sauce. Perfect for dinner sides or holiday meals!

    Ingredients:

    1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    2 tablespoons unsalted butter
    1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
    1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
    Salt and black pepper, to taste
    Optional: lemon wedges for serving

    Instructions:

     

    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to get ready for baking your cheesy garlic green beans.

    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and blanch for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
    Drain and immediately transfer the green beans to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking. Drain again and pat dry.

    In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

    Toss the blanched green beans in the garlic butter. Season with salt, black pepper, and dried Italian seasoning. Transfer to a baking dish.

    Sprinkle shredded Parmesan and mozzarella cheese evenly over the green beans for that irresistible cheesy topping.

    Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.

    Serve hot with optional lemon wedges for a bright, fresh flavor. Perfect as a side for dinner, holiday meals, or family gatherings!
