Cheesy Cheeseburger Pasta Recipe
This Cheeseburger Pasta is the ultimate comfort food, combining the flavors of a juicy cheeseburger with creamy, cheesy pasta. Ingredients:
2 tsp Sunflower oil
500g Beef mince (lean, 5% fat)
1 Onion (peeled and chopped)
2 Garlic cloves (peeled and crushed)
2 Green peppers (sliced)
750ml Beef stock
6 tbsp Ketchup
3 tbsp Yellow Mustard (American style)
3 tsp Paprika
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
250g Dried pasta
50g Pickles (Gherkins) (chopped)
To Finish:
100g Cream cheese
75g Red Leicester cheese (grated)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
1. Brown the Beef:
Heat sunflower oil in a large pan. Add beef mince and cook over high heat for 5–10 minutes until browned.
2. Cook the Veggies:
Add onion, garlic, and green peppers. Cook for another 5 minutes.
3. Add Seasonings & Pasta:
Stir in 500ml of beef stock, ketchup, mustard, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and plenty of freshly ground black pepper. Add dried pasta, bring everything to a simmer, and cover with a lid.
4. Simmer Until Pasta is Al Dente:
Cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the sauce thickens. (Add more stock if needed for a saucier consistency.)
5. Grill with Cheese:
Preheat your grill to high. Remove the pan from heat and stir in chopped pickles and cream cheese. Sprinkle grated Red Leicester cheese on top and grill for 3–5 minutes until bubbly and golden.
