Caramelized Baked Chicken
This Caramelized Baked Chicken recipe features perfectly seasoned chicken legs and wings, baked to create a deliciously sweet and savory crust. It’s an easy, flavorful dish that’s perfect for any home cook!
Ingredients:
– 3 lb chicken legs/wings
– Cajun seasoning
– Onion powder
– Garlic powder
– Poultry seasoning
– Chicken broth
– 1 Onion, chopped
– 1 Green bell pepper, chopped
– 3 cloves Garlic, minced
– Salt
– Pepper
Instructions:
1. Season the Chicken: Liberally season the chicken with Cajun seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper. Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
2. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
3. Prepare the Baking Dish: Spread the chopped onion, green bell pepper, and garlic on the bottom of a baking dish. Place the seasoned chicken on top of the vegetables. Pour 1/3 cup of chicken broth into the bottom of the dish.
4. Bake the Chicken: Bake the chicken uncovered for a total of 45-50 minutes. Every 20 minutes, baste the chicken with the drippings from the bottom of the pan to enhance the caramelized flavor.
