    Caramel Apple Dessert Cups

Indulge in these irresistible Caramel Apple Dessert Cups, an easy, no-bake treat perfect for apple season. Featuring a vanilla wafer crust, salted caramel mousse, cinnamon apples, and a luscious drizzle of salted caramel sauce, these dessert cups are a must-try!

    Ingredients:

    Cinnamon Apples:
    – 4 cups apples, peeled and chopped
    – ½ cup light brown sugar
    – 1 tsp cinnamon

    Caramel Apple Dessert Cups:
    – 2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
    – ¼ cup salted or unsalted butter, melted
    – 1 pkg instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4 ounces)
    – 1 cup milk
    – ⅓ cup salted caramel sauce, or store-bought
    – 1 ½ cups heavy cream
    – Additional caramel sauce for garnish

    Instructions:

    Prepare Cinnamon Apples:
    1. In a medium saucepan, combine peeled and chopped apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the apples are soft and the liquid thickens. Set aside to cool.

    Prepare Crust:
    1. In a mixing bowl, combine vanilla wafer crumbs and melted butter. Stir until fully combined.
    2. Divide the mixture among 28 – 2-ounce plastic cups, pressing the crumbs down to form a crust.

    Prepare Caramel Mousse:
    1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together instant vanilla pudding mix and milk. Chill for 5 minutes.
    2. Add salted caramel sauce to the pudding mixture and beat with an electric hand mixer on medium speed until smooth.
    3. Add the heavy cream and continue to whip with an electric hand mixer for 3-5 minutes until thick and creamy.
    4. Transfer the caramel mousse to a piping bag and pipe into the cups over the crust.

    Assemble Dessert Cups:
    1. Spoon the cooled cinnamon apples over the caramel mousse in each cup. Drizzle with additional caramel sauce if desired.
    2. Cover the cups with lids and chill until ready to serve. They can be stored in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days.

Enjoy these delightful Caramel Apple Dessert Cups!
