    Cajun Shrimp & Salmon with Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce

    This Cajun shrimp and salmon recipe is a bold, flavor-packed seafood dinner made in just 30 minutes. Perfectly seared salmon fillets and juicy shrimp are coated in Cajun spices and smothered in a rich creamy garlic Parmesan sauce. It’s an easy one-pan meal that feels indulgent yet delivers high protein and healthy fats, making it ideal for weeknights or special occasions.

    Ingredients:

    2 salmon fillets
    12 large shrimp, peeled & deveined
    1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (plus more to taste)
    2 tbsp olive oil
    2 tbsp butter
    4 garlic cloves, minced
    1 cup heavy cream
    ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
    Salt & black pepper, to taste
    1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
    Optional serving ideas: mashed potatoes, green beans, rice, or cauliflower mash

    Instructions:

    Pat the salmon and shrimp dry and season generously with Cajun seasoning. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear salmon skin-side down for 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside. Sear shrimp for 2–3 minutes until pink and lightly charred.

    In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. This step creates the deep, savory base for the sauce.

    Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese. Simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste for a smooth creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.

    Return salmon and shrimp to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top. Simmer 2–3 minutes until heated through and coated in flavor.

    Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot. Pair with mashed potatoes or green beans for a comforting, restaurant-style seafood dinner at home.
