    Brown Sugar Caramel Sauce

Make your desserts irresistible with this homemade Brown Sugar Caramel Sauce! Rich, buttery, and creamy, this quick caramel sauce is made with just a few simple ingredients brown sugar, butter, and cream. Perfect for drizzling over ice cream, pancakes, cheesecake, brownies, or even stirring into your favorite coffee drinks.

    Ingredients:

    ½ cup salted butter
1 cup packed light brown sugar
    ¾ cup heavy cream
    2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt or sea salt flakes (optional)

    Instructions:

In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together. Stir continuously until the mixture becomes bubbly and fully combined (about 2 minutes).

Slowly pour in the heavy cream, whisking constantly. Be careful the sauce may bubble up.
For a lighter, thinner caramel sauce, remove the saucepan from the heat once combined.
For a darker, thicker caramel, let it simmer gently for 2–3 minutes until it deepens in color.

Remove from heat. Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt (if using). Transfer to a heat-proof jar or container and allow to cool at room temperature. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
