    Ingredients:

    1 pound bulk sausage

    1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls

    2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese (or cheddar for extra flavor)

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat the Oven:
    Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to preheat.

    2. Cook the Sausage:
    In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbled. Drain any grease and set aside.

    3. Prepare the Crescent Rolls:
    Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. Lay the triangles flat on a clean work surface.

    4. Fill and Roll:

    Add a spoonful of cooked sausage and shredded cheese to the wide end of each crescent triangle.

    Roll each triangle tightly, starting from the wide end toward the pointed tip, securing the filling inside.

    5. Arrange in a Baking Dish:
    Place the rolls seam-side down in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Keep them close but not overlapping.

    6. Add Extra Cheese (Optional):
    For an extra cheesy breakfast treat, sprinkle additional shredded cheese on top of the rolls.

    7. Bake to Perfection:
    Bake the crescent rolls for 15–18 minutes until golden brown, with cheese melted and bubbling.
