    Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry

     

    This Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry is a perfect balance of tender beef, fresh vegetables, and a savory sauce that’s bursting with flavor. Ready in just 35 minutes, it’s a quick and healthy dinner option for busy weeknights. The rich, umami-packed sauce, combined with vibrant broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers, makes every bite irresistible. Serve it over rice or noodles for a hearty, satisfying meal. With simple ingredients and easy steps, this recipe will quickly become a family favorite!

     

    Ingredients:

    For the Beef Marinade:

    1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced

    2 tablespoons soy sauce

    1 tablespoon cornstarch

    1 tablespoon rice vinegar

    For the Stir-Fry:

    2 tablespoons vegetable oil

    4 cups broccoli florets
    1 bell pepper, sliced

    1 large carrot, thinly sliced

    3 cloves garlic, minced

    1 tablespoon ginger, minced

    2 green onions, chopped

    For the Sauce:

    3 tablespoons soy sauce

    2 tablespoons oyster sauce

    1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

    1 tablespoon rice vinegar

    1 tablespoon brown sugar

    1 teaspoon sesame oil

    1/4 cup beef broth or water

    Instructions:

    Step 1: Marinate the Beef

    1. Combine soy sauce, cornstarch, and rice vinegar in a medium bowl.

    2. Add the thinly sliced beef and toss to coat. Marinate for 15 minutes to infuse flavor.

     

    Step 2: Prepare the Sauce

    1. Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, sesame oil, and beef broth.

    2. Set aside for later use.

     

    Step 3: Stir-Fry the Vegetables

    1. Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.

    2. Add broccoli, bell pepper, and carrot. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.

    3. Remove the vegetables from the skillet and set aside.

     

    Step 4: Cook the Beef

    1. In the same skillet, heat the remaining vegetable oil.

    2. Add marinated beef in a single layer and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.

    3. Add minced garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

     

    Step 5: Combine and Serve

    1. Return the cooked vegetables to the skillet with the beef.

    2. Pour the sauce over the mixture, stirring to coat evenly.

    3. Cook for 2-3 minutes to let the flavors blend.

    4. Stir in chopped green onions and serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
