    BBQ Brisket Melts

Looking for the ultimate BBQ brisket sandwich that’s melty, cheesy, and packed with smoky flavor? These BBQ Brisket Melts are layered with tender shredded brisket, tangy BBQ sauce, gooey provolone cheese, and crispy sourdough bread. It’s the perfect grilled cheese upgrade for meat lovers!

    Ingredients:

    1 lb cooked brisket, shredded
    1 cup BBQ sauce (alcohol-free)
    4 slices provolone cheese
    4 slices sourdough bread
    2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
    1/2 cup caramelized onions (optional)
    1/4 cup pickled jalapeños (optional)
    Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

    Instructions:

    1. Mix the BBQ Brisket Filling

In a medium bowl, combine shredded brisket with BBQ sauce. Stir until the brisket is well coated in sweet and smoky flavor.

    2. Assemble the Melts

Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.

On the unbuttered side of one slice, add half the BBQ brisket mixture.

Top with 2 slices of provolone cheese, and add caramelized onions and pickled jalapeños for an extra punch.

Close with another slice of bread, buttered side facing out. Repeat for second sandwich.

    3. Grill to Perfection

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.

Grill each sandwich for 4–5 minutes per side, until the bread is golden brown and crispy and the cheese is perfectly melted.

For quicker melting, cover the skillet with a lid.

    4. Serve and Enjoy!

Remove from skillet, let cool slightly, and slice in half. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color.
