    The Angel Beef Casserole is the ultimate comfort food, combining seasoned ground beef, tender egg noodles, and a creamy, cheesy topping. Perfect for family dinners, this hearty dish is easy to prepare and packed with flavor. The addition of kidney beans and a touch of Worcestershire sauce gives it a unique twist. Customize it with your favorite vegetables for added nutrition. A golden, bubbly topping makes it irresistible and ensures it’s a crowd-pleaser every time!

     

    Ingredients:
    For the Casserole:

    1 lb ground beef

    1 medium onion, chopped

    1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes (with juice)

    1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce

    1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, rinsed and drained

    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

    1 teaspoon garlic powder

    1 teaspoon chili powder (optional)

    Salt and pepper to taste

    2 cups cooked egg noodles or pasta

    For the Topping:

    2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

    1 cup sour cream

    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    1/4 cup chopped green onions or chives (optional)

     

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat the Oven
    Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    2. Cook the Ground Beef
    In a large skillet, brown 1 lb of ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat, then add the chopped onion. Cook until the onion is soft, about 5 minutes.

    3. Build the Base
    Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and chili powder (if using). Season with salt and pepper, then let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.

    4. Combine with Noodles
    In a large bowl, mix the beef mixture with the cooked egg noodles until well blended.

    5. Prepare the Cheesy Topping
    In a separate bowl, combine sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, and Parmesan cheese.

    6. Assemble the Casserole
    Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread the beef and noodle mixture evenly, then top it with the cheese mixture.

    7. Bake to Perfection
    Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is bubbly and golden.

    8. Serve and Enjoy
    Let the casserole cool slightly. Garnish with green onions or chives for extra flavor.
