    CHICKEN WINGS
    Ingredients:
    2 lbs chicken wings, split at joints, tips discarded
    Zest and juice of 2 lemons
    3 tablespoons olive oil
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    1 teaspoon dried oregano
    1 teaspoon paprika
    Salt and black pepper to taste
    Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
    Lemon wedges for serving

     

    Instructions:
    Preparing the Marinade:
    Zesty Lemon Mixture:
    In a bowl, combine lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk the ingredients together to create a flavorful marinade.

     

    Marinating the Chicken Wings:
    Coating the Wings:
    Place the chicken wings in a large resealable plastic bag or a bowl. Pour the lemon marinade over the wings, ensuring they are well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, allowing the flavors to infuse.
    Grilling the Chicken Wings:
    Preheating the Grill:
    Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
    Grilling Process:
    Remove the marinated chicken wings from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature. Grill the wings for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and cooked through.

     

    Checking Doneness:
    Ensure the internal temperature of the chicken wings reaches 165°F (74°C).
    Garnishing and Serving:
    Fresh Herb Garnish:
    Garnish the Lemon Grilled Chicken Wings with fresh parsley for a burst of color and added freshness.
    Lemon Wedges:
    Serve the wings with lemon wedges on the side for an extra squeeze of citrusy goodness.
    Serving Suggestions:
    Enjoy these zesty wings on their own or pair them with your favorite dipping sauce. They also make a fantastic addition to any summer barbecue or game day spread.
