    Ingredients:

    2 pounds beef sirloin or flank steak, sliced into thin strips
    2 large bell peppers (red, green, or yellow), sliced
    1 medium onion, sliced (optional)

    ½ cup beef broth
    2 tablespoons brown sugar
    2 tablespoons cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

    Add the bell peppers and onion on top of the beef.

    In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, beef broth, and brown sugar until combined.

    Pour the sauce evenly over the beef and vegetables.

    Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the beef is tender.

    For a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with a little cold water, stir into the slow cooker, and cook on HIGH for 15–20 minutes.
