    Baked Candied Carrots

    These Baked Candied Carrots are tender, buttery, and perfectly sweet with warm cinnamon and rich brown sugar. This classic oven-baked side dish is easy to prepare and makes the perfect addition to holiday dinners, Sunday meals, or weeknight comfort food.

    Ingredients:

    2 lb baby carrots
    1 stick butter, melted
    1 cup brown sugar
    2 tbsp pancake syrup (or maple syrup)
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
    Salt & black pepper, to taste

    Directions:

    Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and butter a baking dish.
    Place the baby carrots evenly in the prepared dish.
    In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, pancake syrup, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
    Pour the mixture over the carrots and toss gently to coat.
    Cover tightly with foil.
    Bake for 60 minutes, or until carrots are fork-tender, stirring once halfway through if desired.
    Serve warm and spoon the sweet buttery glaze over the top.
