Ingredients (Serves 2):
2 steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or strip steak)
8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed
3 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh thyme (or ½ tsp dried)
1 tsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Olive oil, for searing
Directions:
Generously season the steaks with salt and pepper. Pat shrimp dry. Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil. Sear steaks for 3–4 minutes per side (medium-rare). Remove and rest.
In the same skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
Melt remaining butter in the skillet. Stir in thyme and rosemary. Add asparagus and sauté 2–3 minutes until tender-crisp. Return shrimp to coat in the garlic herb butter.
Plate the steak, top with shrimp and asparagus, and drizzle with the rich garlic herb butter sauce.
