    Golden Italian Meatballs with Spinach, Garlic & Molten Mozzarella

    Juicy, cheesy, and packed with flavor!
    These Golden Italian Meatballs with Molten Mozzarella Centers are tender, protein-rich, and bursting with classic Italian flavors. Made with fresh spinach, garlic, Parmesan, and Italian herbs, each bite reveals a gooey mozzarella surprise that makes this dish irresistible. Perfect for family dinners, meal prep, or entertaining guests.

    Ingredients:

    For the Italian Meatballs
    1 lb (450 g) ground chicken, turkey, or beef
    1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    ½ cup breadcrumbs
    1 large egg
    ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
    1 tbsp Italian seasoning
    ½ tsp paprika
    ½ tsp salt
    ½ tsp black pepper
    1–2 tbsp olive oil (for browning)
    For the Mozzarella Centers
    6–8 mini mozzarella balls (bocconcini) or ½-inch mozzarella cubes
    Optional for Serving
    Warm marinara sauce
    Fresh basil
    Extra Parmesan cheese

    Directions:

    Pat the mozzarella balls dry to prevent excess moisture and ensure a perfectly molten center.

    In a large bowl, gently combine the ground meat, spinach, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

    Take a small portion of the mixture, flatten it in your palm, place a mozzarella ball in the center, and wrap the meat around it. Roll into smooth, sealed balls.

    Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides for 4–5 minutes until golden and flavorful.

    Transfer meatballs to a baking dish and bake at 190°C (375°F) for 10–12 minutes, until fully cooked and the cheese inside is deliciously melted.

    Serve hot with marinara sauce, fresh basil, and extra Parmesan for a restaurant-style Italian meal.
