Creamy Garlic Chicken & Mushroom Spaghetti

 

Quick and easy creamy garlic chicken and mushroom spaghetti recipe! Loaded with protein, Parmesan, and mushrooms the perfect weeknight dinner that’s creamy, flavorful, and family-friendly.

Ingredients:

300g spaghetti classic pasta for an easy dinner
2 skinless chicken breasts, sliced lean protein for healthy meals
200g button mushrooms rich in antioxidants and flavor
2 cloves garlic boosts taste and health benefits
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp olive oil heart-healthy cooking oil
Salt & freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp dried Italian herb mix fragrant seasoning
200ml heavy cream creates creamy, rich sauce
50g Parmesan cheese savory topping and calcium source
1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (optional) for thicker sauce

Directions:

Cook spaghetti: Boil salted water and cook pasta 8–10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Cook chicken: Heat oil and 1 tbsp butter in skillet. Season chicken and cook 5–7 minutes until golden. Remove and set aside.
Sauté mushrooms & garlic: Melt remaining butter. Cook garlic and mushrooms 4–5 minutes until soft.
Make creamy sauce: Return chicken to pan. Add cream, Italian herbs, and Parmesan. Simmer 5–7 minutes. Optional: stir in cornstarch slurry for thicker sauce.
Serve: Plate spaghetti and spoon creamy garlic chicken and mushrooms on top.
