Ingredients:

1 lb. ground beef
2 tsp dried oregano, divided
2 tsp dried thyme, divided
6 tbsp butter
1 cup yellow onion, diced
1 cup carrots, sliced
1 cup celery, sliced
5 cloves garlic, minced
4 tbsp flour
8 cups chicken broth
8 oz. uncooked elbow macaroni
1 cup heavy cream
8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tsp white balsamic vinegar

4 sesame seed buns, diced into 1-inch pieces
2 tbsp olive oil

Directions:
In a large soup pot or Dutch oven, cook ground beef over medium heat with 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp thyme, and salt. Brown evenly, breaking up the meat. Drain excess grease if needed.
Add butter to the pot, then stir in onion, carrots, and celery. Sauté 5–7 minutes until softened. Add minced garlic and cook another minute until fragrant.
Sprinkle flour over the beef and vegetables, stirring well. Cook for 2–3 minutes to thicken the base of your cheeseburger soup.
Gradually whisk in chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then add elbow macaroni. Reduce heat and simmer for 8–10 minutes, or until pasta is tender.
