Ingredients:

1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak, cut into thin strips (for juicy, tender bites)

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced (fresh garlic gives bold flavor)

8 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or your favorite shape)

1 cup heavy cream

1 ½ cups shredded white cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon butter

1 teaspoon salt, divided

½ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

1. Cook the pasta according to package directions in salted water. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add steak strips and season with ½ teaspoon salt and black pepper. Sear until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove steak and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter and garlic. Sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).

4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.

5. Gradually stir in the white cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.

6. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.

7. Return steak to the skillet and stir to combine. Add red pepper flakes if using.

8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
