Flavor-Packed Garlic Chicken Lo Mein Recipe

Quick, easy, and full of bold Asian-inspired flavors, this Garlic Chicken Lo Mein is the perfect weeknight stir-fry! Tender chicken, crisp veggies, and garlicky noodles make this better-than-takeout dinner a total crowd-pleaser.

    Ingredients

    For the Chicken:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed

    1 tablespoon garlic powder

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon fish sauce (for umami-rich flavor)

    1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger

    For the Vegetables:

10 garlic cloves, minced (yes—10 for that ultimate garlicky punch!)

    2 teaspoons fresh grated ginger

(Add your favorite stir-fry veggies like bell peppers, carrots, snap peas, or broccoli!)

    Optional Additions:

8 oz lo mein noodles (or spaghetti noodles)

    2 tablespoons soy sauce

    1 tablespoon oyster sauce

    1 teaspoon sesame oil

Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

    Instructions:

    1. Prep Chicken: Season cubed chicken with garlic powder, salt, pepper, fish sauce, and grated ginger. Let it marinate while prepping other ingredients.

    2. Cook Chicken: Heat oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

    3. Sauté Garlic & Ginger: In the same pan, add a little more oil and sauté minced garlic and ginger until fragrant.

    4. Stir-Fry Veggies: Toss in your choice of vegetables and stir-fry until crisp-tender.

    5. Add Noodles & Sauce: Add cooked lo mein noodles, chicken, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together until well coated and heated through.

    6. Serve: Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot!
