One-Pot Smoky Honey BBQ Steak Pasta Recipe

Looking for the perfect comfort food dinner that’s packed with bold BBQ flavors? This One-Pot Smoky Honey BBQ Steak Pasta is a dream come true for steak lovers and pasta lovers alike! Tender slices of juicy steak, smoky spices, creamy cheddar cheese, and sweet honey BBQ sauce all come together in one easy skillet meal ideal for quick dinners and easy weeknight meals. Plus, fewer dishes to wash!

    Ingredients:

1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced

    2 tablespoons olive oil

    1 tablespoon smoked paprika

    1 teaspoon garlic powder

    1 teaspoon onion powder

    ½ teaspoon salt

    ½ teaspoon black pepper

2 cups pasta (elbow macaroni, penne, or your favorite shape)

    1 ½ cups beef broth

    ½ cup honey BBQ sauce

    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

    Instructions:

    1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced steak and cook until browned on all sides, about 5–7 minutes.
    2. Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside. In the same pan, sprinkle in the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to bring out the smoky aroma.
    3. Add the pasta, beef broth, and honey BBQ sauce to the skillet. Stir everything together and bring it to a boil.
    4. Lower the heat to a simmer, cover the skillet, and cook for 10–12 minutes, or until the pasta is tender and the sauce thickens beautifully.
    5. Stir in the cooked steak and shredded cheddar cheese. Keep cooking just until the cheese melts and the pasta becomes irresistibly creamy and flavorful.
    6. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot!

    Recipe Tips:

Use flank steak for extra tenderness or sirloin steak for a richer flavor.

Feel free to swap out elbow pasta for penne or rotini.

Add a pinch of crushed red pepper for a spicy BBQ kick!
