Ingredients:
For the Sliders:
1 lb. shaved roast beef
2 tablespoons olive oil
9 slices provolone cheese
1 large bell pepper, chopped
1/2 cup onion, chopped
4 tablespoons butter, divided
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 dozen dinner rolls
For the Everything Bagel Topping:
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup poppy seeds
1/4 cup dried onion flakes
1/4 cup black sesame seeds (optional)
1 tablespoon garlic salt
Instructions:
1. Prep the Everything Bagel Mix:
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
In a small bowl, combine sesame seeds, poppy seeds, onion flakes, black sesame seeds (if using), and garlic salt. Mix well and store any extra in an airtight container.
2. Make the Bagel Butter:
In another small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons melted butter with 2 tablespoons of the Everything Bagel Mix. Set aside.
3. Cook the Vegetables:
Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped bell pepper and onion. Sauté until soft and golden brown at the edges. Set aside.
4. Heat the Roast Beef:
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the shaved roast beef and cook until heated through and slightly seared.
5. Assemble the Sliders:
Slice the dinner rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottom halves in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the bottom halves of the rolls.
Evenly distribute the warmed roast beef over the rolls.
Layer provolone cheese slices on top of the beef.
Sprinkle the sautéed vegetables over the cheese.
6. Bake the Sliders:
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
Remove from the oven, place the top halves of the rolls over the sliders, and brush generously with the prepared bagel butter.
Return to the oven for another 5 minutes to toast the tops.
7. Serve and Enjoy!
Remove the sliders from the oven and cut them into individual sandwiches. Serve warm and enjoy these cheesy, savory bites!
