    1 lb Italian sausage (mild or spicy)

    1 medium onion, diced

    3 garlic cloves, minced

    4 cups chicken broth

    1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes

    1 cup heavy cream

    2 cups short pasta (ditalini or macaroni work best)

    1 tsp Italian seasoning

    How to Make Creamy Italian Sausage Pasta Soup

    Step 1: Brown the Sausage
    In a large pot, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease to keep the soup light and flavorful.

    Step 2: Sauté Onion & Garlic
    Add the diced onion to the pot and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

    Step 3: Add Broth and Tomatoes
