    Slow Cooker Cinnamon Roll Casserole Recipe

     

    This Slow Cooker Cinnamon Roll Casserole is the ultimate comfort food, combining soft, gooey cinnamon rolls with a rich custard for a decadent treat. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert, it’s infused with warm flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, and maple syrup. The addition of pecans adds a delightful crunch, while the icing makes it irresistibly sweet. Made effortlessly in a crock pot, this dish is ideal for holidays or cozy family gatherings. Serve it warm for a crowd-pleasing, indulgent experience!

    Ingredients:

    2 (12-ounce) tubes of cinnamon roll dough, cut into quarters

    3 large eggs

    1/2 cup half-and-half or whipping cream

    3 tablespoons maple syrup

    2 teaspoons vanilla extract

    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

    1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

    1/3 cup chopped pecans (optional)

    Instructions:

    1. Prep Your Crock Pot: Spray the inside of a 6-quart crock pot with non-stick cooking spray.

    2. Layer the Dough: Evenly spread the cinnamon roll quarters across the bottom of the crock pot.

    3. Mix the Custard: In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, half-and-half, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

    4. Assemble: Slowly pour the custard mixture over the cinnamon roll pieces. Sprinkle pecans on top if desired.

    5. Add Icing: Spoon one of the icing containers (included with the cinnamon rolls) over the top.

    6. Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Check at the 2 1/2-hour mark if your crock pot runs hot. The casserole is done when the edges are golden brown and the center is no longer gooey.

    7. Finish and Serve: Turn off the crock pot, spoon the second container of icing over the warm casserole, and serve immediately.

    Pro Tips:

    Use Pillsbury cinnamon rolls for the best results; off-brand rolls may not bake as well.

    For added crunch, try topping with extra pecans or a drizzle of caramel sauce.

    Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an indulgent treat!
