Ingredients (Serves 4):
650g beef strips (quick and easy!)
2 small onions, sliced
200g mushrooms, sliced
2 packets of Beef Stroganoff mix
Instructions:
1. Layer the Ingredients:
Place the sliced onions at the bottom of your slow cooker.
Add the beef strips on top of the onions.
Sprinkle the Beef Stroganoff mix evenly over the beef.
Top with sliced mushrooms.
2. Cook:
Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat.
Cook for 4 hours. (Tip: If your slow cooker runs hot, check it earlier. Mine is a 5.5L Sunbeam and cooks faster.)
3. Serve:
Spoon the tender, flavorful stroganoff over freshly steamed rice.
Notes:
This recipe skips cream for a lighter option (perfect for those who aren’t fans of creamy stroganoff).
