    Slow Cooker Ground Beef Mostaccioli Recipe

     

    This Slow Cooker Ground Beef Mostaccioli is a hearty, family-friendly pasta dish perfect for busy weeknights or cozy dinners. The rich marinara sauce, tender ground beef, and gooey cheese make every bite irresistible. It’s incredibly easy to prepare, with the slow cooker doing most of the work. Simply add uncooked pasta toward the end for perfectly cooked noodles. Ideal for those who love effortless comfort food!

    Ingredients:

    1 pound ground beef

    1 medium onion, chopped

    2 cloves garlic, minced

    1 green bell pepper, chopped

    1 (24-ounce) jar marinara sauce

    1 (15-ounce) can diced tomatoes

    1 teaspoon dried oregano

    1 teaspoon dried basil

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    1/2 teaspoon black pepper

    2 cups mostaccioli pasta, uncooked

    2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

    1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    Instructions:

    1. Cook the Beef & Veggies

    In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.

    Add the chopped onion, garlic, and green bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

    2. Combine Ingredients in Slow Cooker

    Transfer the beef and veggie mixture to your slow cooker.

    Stir in marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, dried oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper.

    3. Slow Cook the Sauce

    Cover and cook on low heat for 4 hours, allowing the flavors to meld together.

    4. Add Pasta & Cheese

    After 4 hours, stir in the uncooked mostaccioli pasta, ensuring the noodles are fully submerged in the sauce.

    Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly on top.

    5. Final Cook & Serve

    Cover and cook for another hour on low, or until the pasta is tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
