    This Slow Cooker Orange Curd is a luscious, citrusy treat that’s incredibly easy to make. Bursting with the bright flavors of fresh orange and lemon, it’s perfect for spreading on toast, filling pastries, or topping desserts. The slow cooker does all the work, giving you a silky, homemade curd without constant stirring. It’s a versatile addition to your kitchen that keeps fresh for up to two weeks.     Ingredients:

    1 cup fresh orange juice (about 3-4 oranges)

    1 tablespoon orange zest

    1 cup granulated sugar

    1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

    3 large eggs, lightly beaten

    1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

    Directions

    1. Prep Your Slow Cooker: Lightly spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.

    2. Mix the Base: In a medium bowl, whisk together fresh orange juice, orange zest, and granulated sugar until the sugar dissolves.

    3. Add Richness: Pour in the melted unsalted butter and whisk until well combined for a silky texture.

    4. Incorporate Eggs & Lemon: Add the lightly beaten eggs and fresh lemon juice. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and vibrant.

    5. Cook Slowly: Pour the mixture into your slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat for 2–2.5 hours, stirring every 30 minutes, until it thickens and coats the back of a spoon.

    6. Cool & Store: Transfer the thickened orange curd to a heat-proof bowl and let it cool to room temperature. Once cooled, spoon it into jars and refrigerate for up to two weeks.
