    Ingredients:

    For the Steak:

    1 lb flank steak

    1 tbsp olive oil

    1 tsp salt

    1/2 tsp black pepper

    For the Portobello Mushrooms:

    2 large portobello mushrooms

    1 tbsp olive oil

    1/4 tsp salt

    1/4 tsp black pepper

    For the Parmesan Polenta:

    1 cup polenta

    4 cups water

    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    1/4 cup butter

    Salt and pepper to taste

    Directions:

    1. Prep and Grill the Steak:

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat for a perfect sear.

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, and black pepper, then rub generously over the flank steak to enhance its flavor.

Grill the steak for 5-7 minutes per side, depending on your preferred doneness. Once done, let it rest for 10 minutes to retain its juices before slicing.

    2. Prepare the Portobello Mushrooms:

Remove the stems and gills from the mushrooms for a clean and meaty texture.

Brush the mushrooms with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper for seasoning.

Grill the mushrooms for 5-7 minutes per side until they’re tender and slightly charred.

    3. Make the Parmesan Polenta:

Bring water to a boil in a large saucepan. Gradually whisk in the polenta, then lower the heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until it’s thick and creamy.

Stir in Parmesan cheese, butter, salt, and pepper for a rich, cheesy finish.

    4. Serve and Enjoy:

Plate the sliced steak with the grilled portobello mushrooms alongside a generous portion of Parmesan polenta. This hearty meal is a perfect choice for steak lovers and mushroom enthusiasts alike!
