Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes Recipe

This Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes recipe is a savory delight, combining tender, bite-sized sirloin steak with crispy roasted baby potatoes. The rich garlic butter sauce, infused with herbs like thyme, rosemary, and oregano, coats every bite, making it irresistibly flavorful. It’s a hearty, comforting dish that’s perfect for a satisfying dinner. Garnished with fresh parsley, this meal is sure to impress!

    Ingredients:

    – 1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
    – 1 1/2 pounds baby potatoes, halved
    – 4 tablespoons olive oil, divided
    – 6 cloves garlic, minced
    – 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
    – 1 teaspoon dried thyme
    – 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
    – 1 teaspoon dried oregano
    – Salt and pepper to taste
    – Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

    Directions:

    1. Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    2. Roast the Potatoes: Toss the halved baby potatoes in a large bowl with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Arrange them in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes, until they’re golden and tender.

    3. Cook the Steak: While the potatoes are roasting, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak pieces and cook them for about 5-7 minutes, until browned on all sides and cooked to your liking. Once done, remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside.

    4. Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Stir in the dried thyme, rosemary, and oregano, allowing the flavors to combine.

    5. Combine Steak and Sauce: Return the steak to the skillet, tossing it in the garlic butter sauce. Let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to soak up all the flavors.

    6. Add the Roasted Potatoes: Remove the potatoes from the oven and add them to the skillet with the steak. Toss everything together until well combined. Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over the steak and potatoes, stirring to ensure everything is evenly coated.

    7. Serve: Serve your garlic butter steak and potatoes hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
