    Creamy Shrimp and Crab Spinach Delight

    Creamy Shrimp and Crab Spinach Delight

    Indulge in the luscious flavors of our Creamy Shrimp and Crab Spinach Delight. This elegant seafood dish features tender shrimp and sweet crab meat, perfectly combined with wilted spinach in a rich, garlicky Parmesan cream sauce. Ideal for an impressive yet easy-to-make dinner, it’s a healthy and delicious family favorite. Garnish with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon for an extra burst of flavor.

    Ingredients:

    – 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
    – 1/2 lb lump crab meat
    – 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
    – 4 cloves garlic, minced
    – 1 small onion, finely chopped
    – 2 cups fresh spinach, roughly chopped
    – 1 cup heavy cream
    – 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    – 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
    – 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
    – Salt and pepper to taste
    – Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
    – Lemon wedges (for serving)

    Instructions:

    Prepare the Shrimp:

    Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

    Sauté Garlic and Onion:
    In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and finely chopped onion. Sauté until fragrant and the onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

    Cook the Spinach:
    Add the chopped spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, approximately 2-3 minutes.

    Create the Cream Sauce:
    Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, dried Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Cook until the sauce slightly thickens, about 3-5 minutes.

    Combine with Seafood:
    Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and gently fold in the lump crab meat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, ensuring the shrimp and crab are heated through and coated with the creamy sauce.

    Serve:
    Plate the creamy shrimp and crab spinach mixture. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
