INGREDIENTS:
1 turkey of about 2.6 kg
2 boxes of chestnuts
2 onions
300g sausage meat
parsley
1 chicken broth (with a cube)
a little white wine
INSTRUCTIONS :
Crush the chestnuts (reserve a few) and chop the onions.
Mix the sausage meat with a little chestnuts, a chopped onion, SALT
Stuff the turkey with this mixture and tie it with twine.
Preheat the oven th.8 (240°C).
Arrange it in a baking dish, brush with a little oil.
Add the chicken broth with the 2nd chopped onion, salt and pepper.
Bake for 3 hours, turning the turkey and basting it.
At the end of cooking, add the remaining chestnuts.
When finished cooking, remove the turkey from the oven.
Wrap it in aluminum foil
Let it rest for 10 minutes so that the juices from the meat spread throughout the turkey.
