    Ingredients:

    For the Steak:

    2 ribeye or New York strip steaks (1 inch thick)

    2 tablespoons olive oil

    Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

    For the Cajun Shrimp:

    1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

    2 tablespoons olive oil

    1 1/2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

    4 cloves garlic, minced

    Juice of 1 lemon

    Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

    Directions:

    Step 1: Prepare the Steak

    1. Remove steaks from the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking to bring them to room temperature. Pat dry with paper towels.

    2. Rub olive oil on both sides of the steak and season generously with salt and black pepper.

    Step 2: Grill the Steak

    1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to high heat. Grill steaks for 4–5 minutes per side for a perfect medium-rare, or adjust to your preferred doneness.

    2. Transfer steaks to a plate, tent with foil, and let rest for 5–10 minutes to lock in the juices.

    Step 3: Cook the Cajun Shrimp

    1. Toss shrimp with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, and minced garlic in a medium bowl until evenly coated.

    2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until they turn pink and are cooked through.

    3. Squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp and toss to combine.

    Step 4: Serve the Surf-and-Turf

    1. Plate the grilled steaks and top with the spicy Cajun shrimp.

    2. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with your favorite sides, like creamy mashed potatoes, buttery garlic bread, or grilled veggies.
