    Snickers Cheesecake

     

    Indulge in decadence, slice by slice, with every bite of this Snickers Cheesecake!

    Ingredients:
    For the Crust:
    – 1 and 1/2 cups crushed Snickers bars (freeze before crushing for easy handling)
    – 1 cup graham cracker crumbs (for stability)
    – 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

    For the Cheesecake Layer:
    – 24 ounces cream cheese, softened
    – 1 cup granulated sugar
    – 3 large eggs
    – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    – 1/2 cup sour cream
    – 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter (for Snickers peanut flavor)

    For the Chocolate and Caramel Layer:
    – 1/2 cup caramel sauce
    – 1/2 cup milk or dark chocolate chips, melted

    For Decoration:
    – Crushed Snickers bars
    – Whole or halved Snickers bars
    – Additional caramel and chocolate drizzle

    Instructions:
    Prepare the Crust:
    1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix crushed Snickers, graham cracker crumbs, and melted butter until well combined.
    2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.

    Make the Cheesecake Layer:
    1. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract, sour cream, and peanut butter until creamy.
    2. Pour cheesecake mixture over the cooled crust and smooth the top. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 50-55 minutes or until the center is set. Allow to cool completely.

    Add the Chocolate and Caramel Layer:
    1. Spread a thin layer of caramel sauce over the cooled cheesecake.
    2. Drizzle or spread melted chocolate over the caramel. Use a toothpick or knife to swirl them together slightly for a marbled effect.
    3. Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight, until completely set.

    Decorate:
    Garnish the top with crushed Snickers bars and additional caramel and chocolate drizzle. Arrange whole or halved Snickers bars around the edge for a stunning presentation.

    Tips for Success:
    – Freeze Snickers bars before crushing for easier handling.
    – Adding graham cracker crumbs to the crust ensures stability.
    – For a crack-free texture, consider baking the cheesecake in a water bath or allowing it to cool gradually in the oven.
